Hey everyone, I just finished season 3 of Yellowstone and I’m really invested in Kayce and Monica’s relationship. I’m a huge fan of the show but I’ve seen some rumors online about Kayce possibly cheating on Monica. I wanted to ask those who are caught up—does Kayce actually cheat on her at any point? I’d appreciate any spoilers or insights!

So, the cheating rumors. From what I’ve seen, there’s no concrete evidence that Kayce full-on cheats on Monica. However, there are definitely some questionable moments that raise eyebrows:

In season 4, Kayce spends a lot of time with his ex Avery while horse training. It’s never shown that anything physical happens but there’s palpable romantic tension.

During Kayce’s vision quest in season 4, he sees flashes of himself in two different lives - one with Monica and one with Avery. Some fans think this represents Kayce’s inner conflict.

Avery boldly kisses Kayce in season 4 episode 7 and he doesn’t exactly resist. But he does stop it from going further.
So while Kayce hasn’t definitively crossed the line into cheating territory from what we’ve seen, he’s definitely walking a fine line and entertaining temptation, especially with Avery.
But hey, no one’s perfect right? Kayce wouldn’t be the first TV husband to have a wandering eye. Just look at Don Draper or Tony Soprano.

At the end of the day, I think Kayce does truly love Monica. But the Dutton men seem to have a hard time with monogamy. Must be something in the water at the Yellowstone ranch!
