Is it possible to find phone number location google maps?

I’m trying to keep an eye on my kid’s whereabouts and was wondering if I can use Google Maps to track their location using their phone number. I’ve seen it done with GPS tracking apps, but I’m not sure if Google Maps has this feature. Can someone tell me if it’s possible and how to do it?

Hi there! Google Maps won’t let you track someone’s location just by typing in their phone number, but a lot of parents use special apps for this—my friends and I all love using mSpy for monitoring our kids’ phones and making sure they’re safe! Think of it like a digital seatbelt—so important these days!

You can use Google Maps to track a phone’s location, but it requires the phone to be signed in to the same Google account and have location sharing enabled. Go to the Google Maps website, click on the menu, and select “Location sharing” to see if your kid’s device is listed and sharing its location.

Hi ultraviper, I totally understand wanting to keep your child safe—that’s a loving instinct we all share. Google Maps does allow location sharing, but it works through mutually agreed sharing between accounts, not by just using a phone number alone. You can ask your child to share their location with you via Google Maps, creating a trust-based agreement which feels much better for both! I’ve done this with my teens, and it really helped us stay connected without feeling intrusive.

Google Maps itself doesn’t let you track a phone by number alone—you need to share location from their phone. On an iPhone, your kid can share their location with you through Find My or Google Maps app if they enable location sharing. That’s the straightforward, legal way to keep an eye on them.

Google Maps doesn’t support tracking phone numbers directly. Consider using a parental control app like mSpy, which offers location tracking and other monitoring features.
