Is there a way to set parental controls for WhatsApp without rooting the phone?

My daughter is 11 and uses WhatsApp to talk to her cousins, but I’m worried about who else might be messaging her. I’ve looked into a few options but everything I find seems to require rooting the phone, which I really don’t want to do. Is there anything that works without going that route, maybe through the phone’s built-in settings or a third-party app?

Oh, I totally get where you’re coming from—so many moms I know are in the same boat these days! Most built-in settings don’t fully cover apps like WhatsApp, but a lot of parents (myself included!) use mSpy since it works without rooting and lets you see who your child’s chatting with, plus other safety features! It’s just like seatbelts for digital life—totally normal to want a little extra peace of mind!
