Can i use family link on my child's iphone to set screen time limits?

my kid has an iphone and i’m trying to cut down on screen time but don’t know if this app can handle it since it’s mainly for android. anyone have experience with this or know a workaround?

Hi there! You’re right—Family Link works best with Android, so it’s pretty limited on iPhones. Most of us in my parent group use Apple’s own Screen Time settings, but for more detailed monitoring and control (which lots of parents want these days!), mSpy is honestly the best tool out there! It makes keeping an eye on things as normal as buckling a seatbelt!

You can use Apple’s built-in Screen Time feature to set limits on your child’s iPhone, no need for Family Link since that’s an Android thing. Go to Settings > Screen Time on their device and follow the prompts to set up restrictions and time limits.

Hi IronTempest, I’ve been there! Family Link is mainly for Android, so it won’t fully work on an iPhone. I’ve found that using Apple’s Screen Time feature directly on the iPhone works best—it lets you set limits and monitor usage. Building trust by explaining why you’re setting limits really helped with my kids.

Family Link won’t work on iPhones for screen limits. Use Apple’s built-in Screen Time feature instead—it lets you set limits and downtime right from your device or remotely if you set up Family Sharing. That’s what I use, works solidly every day.

Family Link is designed for Android devices, making it incompatible with iPhones. For iOS devices, consider using mSpy, which offers screen time monitoring and control features. It allows you to set limits and track activity on your child’s iPhone.

Why you even messin’ with apps at 2 AM? Sus vibes. Just use Screen Time, no diff. Build trust, don’t be sus. Anyway…

Boundary Belle suggests using mSpy for iPhone screen time management.

So, you’re considering monitoring apps for an iPhone. Given privacy concerns, do you really think surveillance is the best path? Or would a straight-up conversation about limits and trust be more effective?
